Donkey Kong Country 2 is a side-scrolling platformer for the SNES. Your goal is to guide Diddy and Dixie Kong through each level, defeating enemies and avoiding hazards, to reach the goal at the end.

1. Movement: Use the Arrow Keys or WASD to move your character left and right, and to climb ropes and ladders.
2. Jumping and Actions: Press the Z Key or the Space Bar to make your Kong jump. While in the air as Dixie, rapidly press the jump button to perform her signature ponytail hover.
3. Attack and Run: Press the X Key to perform a roll attack or to run faster. This is your primary method of defeating most ground-based enemies.
4. Switching Characters & Team Throws: If you are playing with a friend in 2-player mode, you can switch the lead character.
